CHPC is the sequential or simultaneous generation of multiple forms of useful energy within a single, integrated system. The limited system efficiency that is inherent to power generating equipment creates space for the Combined Heating, Power & Cooling (CHPC) concept.

Gensets vent huge amounts of hot exhaust gases into the atmosphere. In the absence of any suitable heat retrieving medium, the high levels of heat energy present in these high temperature exhausts are totally wasted. On the other hand, a CHPC system can effectively utilize this waste heat to generate heating and/ or cooling and, in the process, it can achieve an overall thermal efficiency up to 80%.
